Programme of the Silk Road Classic tour

Day by day — with transfer times and every included excursion.

Day 1 Arrival in Tashkent
14:00 Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel. 16:00 Hast-Imam Square, the Kukeldash Madrasah, Chorsu Bazaar. Dinner of Uzbek national cuisine. Night in Tashkent.
Day 2 Tashkent → Samarkand
06:30 Transfer to the railway station, the high-speed Afrosiyob train (2 h 10 min). 10:00 Registan Square, the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. Night in Samarkand.
Days 3–4 Samarkand → Bukhara
09:00 Drive to Bukhara. The Ark Citadel, the Poi-Kalyan ensemble, the trading domes, Lyabi-Hauz. In the evening, a metal-chasing workshop. Two nights in Bukhara.
Days 5–7 Bukhara → Khiva
08:00 Drive across the Kyzylkum desert. Ichan-Kala: the Kalta Minor minaret, the Tash-Hauli palace, the mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud. Two nights in Khiva, with an evening on the fortress wall.
Day 8 Return and departure
09:00 Flight from Urgench to Tashkent, free time, transfer to the airport.
